This CMMI Level 5 appraisal places NARTech among the Top 5% of appraisals in the United States , according to the CMMI Institute’s Published Appraisal Results. NARTech, a CMMI Level 4 organization, is pleased to announce that they have been selected by HUD to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) support services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Under this 3-year IV&V contract, NARTech will provide quality assurance and control services to support the successful implementation of HUD’s IT projects, systems and services, including solution development and delivery for the various program areas within the agency, using industry standards, such as PMBOK, CMMI and IEEE.

With this significant achievement, NARTech joins an elite group of only six (6) other US Companies who have reached this notable milestone, according to the CMMI Institute’s Published Appraisal Results. A CMMI Level 4 appraisal places NARTech among the Top 6.4% of companies in the USA and among the Top 9.2% CMMI appraised companies in the world.

NARTech has met the goals of SEI CMMI Level 3 Process Maturity and has received 100% rating for process capability and 93% for implementation in the areas of Requirements Development, Technical solution, Product Integration, Verification, Validation, Organizational Process Focus and Definition, Organizational Training, Integrated Project Management, Risk Management, Decision Analysis and Resolution.

NARTech was awarded a 5-year prime contract for providing full system development life cycle services for Web Access Security System (WASS). WASS serves as the single sign-on portal and provides a common framework for administering application-level security for over 35 HUD program area business application systems and over 140,000 external and 4,000 internal HUD end-users.

NARTech met the goals of SEI CMMI Level 2 Process Maturity Model and received 98% rating for process implementation in the areas of Project Planning, Project Management and Control, Requirements Management, Measurement and Analysis, Process and Product Quality Assurance, and Configuration Management.
