NARTech is playing a key role in stabilizing operations and expanding the business functionality of the HUD FHEO IT systems, including the HUD Enforcement Management System (HEMS), FHIP Performance Tracking, Fair Housing Discrimination Complaints (903 form) submissions, FHEO Program Compliance Data Visualization, FHEO SharePoint and internal/external web sites. Our work covers all application development and maintenance lifecycle phases, including definition, build, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance. Recently, NARTech has extended the functionality of HEMS with the Site-and-Neighborhood Standards (SNS) Checklist module using the Form.io tool as a low-code solution, reducing the implementation time for this 25+ page form from 6 months to 6 weeks without any additional labor or licensing costs. We are assisting the HUD FHEO in defining and implementing AI-based data analytics and operational improvement solutions. We use Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe) integrated with DevSecOps and our High Maturity CMMI-Development Level 5 practices for high-quality product delivery. Since NARTech’s return on this support contract, the HEMS application is back to having zero defect releases!
BETHESDA, MD, November 2022 – NARTech announced that it has been appraised a 4th time at the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 5 for developing software products with the highest quality and productivity that meet customer needs . With this significant achievement, NARTech remains in an elite group of forty (40) companies across the United States who have reached this notable milestone. This CMMI Level 5 appraisal places NARTech among the Top 5% of appraisals in the United States , according to the CMMI Institute’s Published Appraisal Results. As organizations mature, they progress through the following levels: 1-Initial > 2-Managed > 3-Defined > 4-Quantitatively Managed > 5-Optimizing. Thus, CMMI-Dev L5 is analogous to the organization having a doctorate-level degree of knowledge, i.e., the highest level of software development capability.
The pace of change in the IT landscape has necessitated faster software deployment, albeit there’s a catch. The meaning of the term ‘faster’ can vary according to the choice of the IT partner. More often than not, the IT partner will deploy a minimum viable product (MVP) – the user organization may not recognize that the final deployed solution is an expansion of their MVP, giving a different meaning to the term faster. For some, the term faster is exclusive of the time taken by an organization to provide, at least, a blueprint of their existing IT infrastructure. And then comes the security of all these efforts, which is taken care of, in theory, by DevSecOps. Enter NARTech.
Enter NARTech. Drawing from its expertise in providing integrated DevSecOps services for mission-critical application development, NARTech offers an answer to the ongoing problem between development speed and security of digital applications. “At NARTech, DevSecOps is in the DNA of everything we do. Contrary to the fact that testing the application security at every stage would only lengthen the project timeline, NARTech believes that automating application testing and code inspection can help our clients make their application development ecosystem more agile and secure,” underscores Urusa Salman, CEO of NARTech.
