On July 8, 2015, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced a final rule to equip communities that receive HUD funding with data and tools to help them meet long-standing fair housing obligations in their use of HUD funds. The final rule aims to provide all HUD program participants with clear guidelines and data they can use to achieve those goals. HUD’s rule clarifies and simplifies existing fair housing obligations and creates a streamlined Assessment of Fair Housing planning process, which will help communities analyze challenges to fair housing choice and establish their own goals and priorities to address the fair housing barriers in their community.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) awarded NARTech a 5-Year contract to provide Application Development Support Services for FHFA’s more than thirty (30) internally developed applications. These applications support FHFA’s mission to regulate and supervise Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and twelve (12) Federal Home Loan Banks.
NARTech, a CMMI Level 4 organization, is pleased to announce that they have been selected by HUD to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) support services for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Under this 3-year IV&V contract, NARTech will provide quality assurance and control services to support the successful implementation of HUD’s IT projects, systems and services, including solution development and delivery for the various program areas within the agency, using industry standards, such as PMBOK, CMMI and IEEE.

NARTech was awarded a 5-year prime contract for providing full system development life cycle services for Web Access Security System (WASS). WASS serves as the single sign-on portal and provides a common framework for administering application-level security for over 35 HUD program area business application systems and over 140,000 external and 4,000 internal HUD end-users.
NARTech was selected to provide Information Technology (IT) Services for the five (5) Office of General Counsel (OGC) application systems and the E-Discovery program. This involves maintenance as well as modernization and integration of OGC application systems to align with evolving business and technology refreshment needs.
